Erased all content and settings from jailbroken iPhone 5 - fix without restore/update

Hello,
I accidently ran erase all content and settings on my jailbroken iPhone 8.1.2 5. I understand now you're not supposed to do that.. The iphone is stuck now on a white screen with apple logo and progress bar without any movement.

My question is, is there any way for me to resolve this without updating my phone? I understand i can fix it with iTunes, but that will update to 8.3 and I won't be able to jailbreak.

I have tried the home button and power button option, but it just resets to the same screen.

That is your only option. I recommend DFU restore as a bricked phone in its regular crashed state like giving errors.
