When I format my iphone, my data (msgs?) can save it??? (Not lose anything)??

Back up your phone using iCloud or connect to a PC or Mac and then wipe your phone.

If you're using iCloud you can go in and pick what you want to back up. If you're going to restore to a new phone than this will back up everything and you can just restore your phone from that back up. It will be like you never even left the phone.

All your data will be removed. And can be restored if you have backed them up using iTunes or iCloud.
