Entire home screen (default apps) are all erased! Please help

Tried jail breaking, and was completed, after a reboot, the entire home screen was erased! Literally nothing! No second screen no setting ect.. Just normal lock screen, I have tried a restore but nothing works, junk the phone is useless now :/ please help?

Try putting your phone in DFU mode (hold the home and power button until the phones cuts off and turn back on the the charger cable on the screen) and restoring your iPhone using iTunes
