Also, I don’t expect tech companies will rehire as many people as they did. Many of them grew dramatically since 2020, and as things came back to a relative normal, you need to adjust for it.

One cannot discount all the other industries, that’s why I am not extremely worried. Information and Communications Technologies exist in every company, and in many cases, at their core.

Indeed. If the terminated employees want to to move to other sectors it’s up to them, but in tech it’s going to be a while.
