What do you guys/gals think of the election tomorrow? Thoughts? Predictions?

Sound off....

I know it's killing Rene that he really can't voice his opinion on this one... being stuck up in Canada and all. :p

I don't see McCain pulling this one out. It should be fun watching the tightness in the polls with the swing states. Just imagine if the electoral ended up 269-269!! That would be great.

It is sad to say, but I think you are right. I really hope McCain can pull it off though. We will find out tomorrow though...

Between both of them they're both politicians and to me they're all the same. But I'd rather see Obama win. My deciding factor is Sarah Palin. I think the republican party is in some sort of conspiracy to sabotage itself and come out swinging in 4 years with Condaleeza Rice. Just one mans opinion...

This is my first election and have been following it daily before the primaries and needless to say I'm super excited. It's like a Superbowl after a two year football season.

Supposedly history has shown that if the Washington Redskins win the home game before the election the party that's in office wins the election and if they loose then there is a change. This has held true since 1938 I think, except for the last election Bush vs. Kerry.

Hey, we voted in Canada a couple weeks ago! Conservatives kept a minority government. (We have a multi-party system, not just 2).

However, we typically believe in changing governments frequently. We have no term limits, but not matter how limited, they get corrupt if we leave them in place longer than 6-8 years.

And lets not forgot the bureaucrats who really run day-to-day things seldom change, and are therefore the most corrupt :)

We also have no president.

BTW- Here, McCain makes "tender crisp french fries" very popular. We have no Obama brands, so to speak, however. (Sounds like a wicked name for a surf or snowboard company, tho...)

Mmmm....fries....

I live about 1/2 mile north of where Obama is holding his rally. My neighborhood has been unbelievably busy all day today.

I think this election will be closer than most people think. I hope though that it does not drag out like the 2000 one did...

@Rene - my friends and I have renamed the shot "O-Bomb" to "Barack O-Bombas" for the time being! :)

In the 2016 Presidential race, the Democrats should run Anthony Weiner. His campaign slogan could be...Vote for me, i have a BIG Agenda.:rotfl:
