Do you use educational apps and which ones? Sometimes I would better pass away time learning smth than playing games. I have coursera in my iPhone.

well Duolingo is cool, thats true. Are there any learning apps for kids which are language independent ? Like for math or learning letters ?

Try Clarify Learning Academy for iOS, I love it. 3D and interactive content, also achievements made me engaged.
