Easy way to create a new contact?

On Android and BB models, when someone that is not in your contact list sends you a text message, you can easily get the option to add that number to your contact list..

I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this on the iOS. Is it even possible? Or am I driving myself crazy trying to find a feature that doesn't exist...?

haha, I tried to find any type of menu to open for options..

I didn't even think about checking the top of the message thread itself..

Glad that helped. I have only texted my wife, who is set up as a contact already, so I wasn't sure if there was an option for that if you didn't have the person set up as a contact.

You'll get the same basic options when someone calls you as well.
