I really really hope the Qualcomm is legitimately competitive. Apple needs pushed. I absolutely love the M series chips. I have iMac M3 and Air M2. I have Surface Laptop 7 on pre-order. (I am OS agnostic). I am cautiously optimistic but definitely not sure if Qualcomm really will be competitive.

Don’t think that’s going to happen, you can’t put server based soc in a laptop without slot of compromise.

Server chips in mobile devices were never going to work out .

M3 still crushes the the x elite, m4 simply demolishes it.

Typical Qualcomm, never believe their marketing materials.
