E-mails disappearing?

How long does the iPhone keep e-mails in the Inbox?

I have noticed that older e-mails (older than a month to 6wks approx) seem to disappear from the Inbox.I tried setting the number of messages viewed to a greater value but they are still not visible and I know I have not deleted them

Well, it depends, are you using Gmail, i.e. on an Exchange connection?

For Gmail there is a 'no limit' otpion. For some other accounts, there is a 200 messages limit. Go to your mail account, and check the settings WITHIN that email account.

It will keep as many meaasges you ask it to show 25-200, you can change this in your mail settings . But you can always scroll to the bottoem and hit load more messages .
