Hey all, I dropped my iPad today. Ugh. The screen, while not cracked at all, looks like this.

Is there any hope for a repair? Or did I just screw myself into buying a new one? I have tried a power down/power up, hard reset, etc.

Thanks for any advice.

I did not. And my Apple Store is quite a ways away, which is why I was soliciting opinions here. Didn't know if anyone else had run into the same issue.

I'd get ready to cough up the cash, if I were you. But the good news is...
THE AIR 2 IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!
You might also want to get an Otterbox for it.

Hopefully that's just a loosened connector inside.

Maybe it's that, maybe it's something more serious.

If it were a 4, I'd say just upgrade. An Air is recent enough that it's worth looking at your options. Worst comes to worst, an out-of-warranty replacement is ~$300, I think? Well, you'll see.

Balance that against a new Air 2 or Air 3 this fall...
