Downloading an MP3 file from a link and editing it?

Hey All,

I used to do this all the time on my Android devices. I could download any MP3 from a link on the net, from an email, etc, and then use an app to trim it, edit it, and so on.

Is there a straightforward way to do this on the iPhone 7+, or does it still consist of a bunch of work-arounds and downloaded apps to achieve?

I have no idea.
I don’t trim any mp3’s.

At the moment I’m even in the process of replacing all my MP3’s to apples m4a a file format.

Having said that, I hope someone with more information about this will come along and reply in this thread.
