Double text messages

I have an iPhone 6+ and my wife has an iPhone 5s. Recently her iMessages have been coming through as two separate text messages instead of all in one conversation. It's never done this before. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks!

Her iMessage is turned on. Everything seems right. I don't get it.

I get this sometimes but not all the time I just deal with it. I know not much help but a fix will come eventually

Both but mostly iMessages.

It could be a carrier issue of some sort. Try doing this:
1. Delete all message threads
2. Toggle off iMessage
3. Reset Network Settings
Settings>General>Reset>Tap Reset Network Settings. You may need to enter your wifi passcode back in afterwards.
4. Toggle iMessage back on

I'm with sprint iv had that same problem also even when I post something on fb and now though it did stop, and just bc I just said this watch it start again lmao

I have this issue when I on my work's wifi that is weak where my office is. Or if I'm going from inside the office to outside. It sends messages twice.
