Does the iphone have a trash can?

When I delete an app from Itunes or anything for that matter on my Mac it goes into the trash and then I have to empty it.

Where do deleted apps, pics etc...go on the iphone?

being a cellphone and having a limited memory space, the iPhone does not retain deleted items as easily to be retrived... but I could be wrong on this one

As far as I know, there is nothing more you need to do. There is no trash that you need to empty except in the mail program.
