Does the iPhone 7/7plus suport HEVC natively or thru 3rd app?

I'm wondering to transcode all my personal video library to HEVC, no problem with High-End Android phones, but the only info related to HEVC on apple ecosyste is is not planed yet for Apple TV to support it.::
