Does the apple pay work in africa ?

Hello iMore Community, I just want to know if the Apple Pays works in Africa.

Apple Pay only works in a few countries. Africa is not one of them.

There are no African countries on the list at this time. I would imagine South Africa will be the first as it's the continent's largest economy.
