Does the 6 bend that easily?

Hi! Pardon my stupid question.
I got a 6 today (no words.......) and I got a TPU case for it. Now, we all know TPU cases are kinda a tight fit so I was wondering if its gonna make the phone bend if I put the phone into it and it's too tight. I know it's a stupid question but I've read SO much about the bendgate and how easily the new iPhone bends and I'm terrified it's gonna bend just by looking at it. Should I buy a silicon case? I keep thinking the case is gonna be too tight for the phone and it's gonna apply pressure to it and it's gonna bend.
I intend to NEVER put the phone in a pocket lol. Just coat pockets!
Again, really sorry for asking such a dumb question, but I bought the phone full price and I dont want it to break.

Thanks in advance!

Bendgate was mainly with the 6 plus. I have a 6 plus that I have had since launch and used normally, without a case for most of the time, in and out of jeans pockets while sitting and doing normal activities. No bends. You should be fine

I know that you can obviously bend it if you put pressure it but my question has more to do with how much pressure there has to be applied. I read online you actually have to put a reasonable amount of it but others said you can just do it like that.

I’ve had my iPhone 6 Plus since launch day. I am using a Spigen NeoHybrid case. I’ve carried it in my back jeans pocket and in my jeans front pocket on occasion. I have no sign or indication of any bends. It’s not as fragile as some are trying to make it seem.

I think it's just how it feels. I had that initial reaction after getting my 6. It is just because I'm used to the way the 5s felt. I thought the 5s felt flimsy after using the 5c.

I think with a good case, under normal use, with no tight pockets or dropped it'll be fine.

Ι certainly do hope so. I just took it out of the case to test if it bent and I've only had it for like 4 hours! Minus the heart attack I had at noon, I lay it on a piece of cleaning cloth and I thought it had bent in the case. I almost died.

The 6 is pretty solid! I have pretty big hands for a girl and I have a good amount of strength in my arms. I've tried to bend both the 6 and 6+ (to prove a point) and it wasn't happening. Unless you're forcefully pressing in one spot purposely, you'll be fine with the TPU case. My 6+ only has a skin on it, and so far, so good.

The case definitely won't bend the phone. Both the 6 and 6+ are hard to bend, unless you take it and just try to bend it forcefully. They are both pretty solid phones, but you can break anything if you try.

The people that were getting bent phones were usually because they were sitting on them in their back pocket. If you sit on a piece of metal and glass, it's bound to either bend or break.

Funny, I thought just the opposite after having the 5s I thought the 5c had more flex to it and when I got my 6 it felt more like a 5c.

Like others have said it is a solid phone and don?t bend very easy, unless putting much force on it.

The 6 is just bigger and the shape feels off to me. I'm getting used to it. With a case, it feels pretty comfortable.
