This (what FFR said) except even a cheap projector will be superior. I was a one time A/V guy (conference rooms, presentation rooms etc). I also have an outdoor theater in my pool area (outdoors is a damned PITA! and ultimately it’s best quality is that it’s outdoors). No offense but a smartphone “clip on projector” is a gimmick. I mean it’ll be better than buying a magnifying glass, a small box, and duct tape (fyi, that can be done and will actually work). But Except for very expensive projectors, you have to have dark, really dark conditions. Even a full moon noticeably reduces the image quality. And without a decent (gain) screen, it gets even worse. The sound being from the phone too? A clip on is something you buy because that was cool! then it sits in your old charging cables drawer. FAR better option:
