We voted to end it permanently in the state of Florida, it has a huge effect on the tourist and golf industry here. The extra hour or so of daylight has a huge effect.
I hope that the governments of Ontario and Québec get onto the program and abolish DST.
The change has health implications, and makes us more accident-prone right after the time changes, twice per year.
It does pain me to say that having the sun set at 16:45 is disappointing, but it's better for our health :/

It's very confusing now because some states have ended it and some haven't. I think it would be best if everyone in the same time zone were on the same time.
