Do you use a VPN and if so, which one would you recomend?

I've been looking at subscribing to a VPN service for use on public Wi-Fi. I don't know that much about VPN, so I've been reading up on them and the various services out there.

So far, the standout seems to be Private Internet Access (PIA), but a couple of reviews say that it's a great service, but not really Apple friendly. Does anyone out there use or has use this provider?

Are there any other VPN providers that ya'll really like and would recomend?

Another one for open VPN. I use it for work daily on my iPhone and iPad along with windows.

I use VYPR but it costs. It's quick and is useable across all platforms - iOS, Mac, android and on all devices.
