Do you have a Lifeproof Fre Power case?

Wondering about the micro USB passthrough! Would like to know if connecting it to normal setups that use the lightning cable, with this case, does it continue to work? Lifeproof says the case continues to charge and sync when connected to iTunes normally like it would when using the lightning cable. I'm basically curious if I will continue to get my car stereo connection when plugged in (FWD, Pause/Play, album art, etc.)

If you're using the USB cable that came with the iPhone it plugs right in through the case when you open the door. The case shouldn't change any of that if you are using your USB cable that came with the iPhone.

This case is different. Because it has a built in 2600 mah battery. So you plug in the iPhone into the case which has a built in lightning connector. And then you seal it up. Unfortunately (or maybe not unfortunately), you get micro usb output with this case. ImageUploadedByiMore Forums1435322329.926429.jpg
