Display Recorder Issues ios 5.1.1 on iPod 3rd Gen

Hi, I have an iPod 3rd gen and am trying to download a successful display recorder via cydia and I can't seem to find the right one. I've tried multiple sources and most have fail downloads. There was one that i tried that let me download it and the only issue I had was the license registration so I couldn't use the activator with it however it recorded perfectly. I deleted it after I found what was suppose to be a patched display recorder and when I did download that one it was fixed however now as soon as I press record via app or activator it then makes my springboard crash Everytime and forces me to go into safe mode. Now for some reason cydia won't let me install the previous display recorder with the license issue either. What can I do or which source can I browse that would allow flawless recording for my iOS and device..? Please help
