Dirt under the screen

I have a dilema, theres like a tinny piece of lint or dirt under the screen of my iphone 3g, i dont know how it got there. Does any 1 know if apple can service my phone and remove the dirt or do i have to take it apart and void my warranty?

I know Apple has been known to replace phones that have dust under the screen but I suppose it depends on who you talk to. And if it is single speck I doubt they will swap it out for you. Can't hurt to try. Good luck.

You could make a appointment to your local Apple store right on their website. Or simply call your local store and ask them, see what they say.

I heard about many cases when Apple did replace the customers iPhone with a brand new one. It's worth a try.

The Apple store replaced my iPhone for this reason last week. First the guy said he would try to remove the screen and clean it. Then he came back and said he couldn't get rid of the dust speck, I could have a new screen or a new iPhone, my choice.

Which seemed strange to me. But I chose the new iPhone, and have had problems with cellular connection ever since.
