My suggestion is to get one of those cleaning cloths that come with eyeglasses or sunglasses. If they're gentle enough to clean eyeglasses, they're good enough for my 3GS.

As I'm sure it's already been said, the 3GS doesn't need one. It has an oleophobic coating on the glass. So any oil or fingerprints wipe off very, very easily.

Well the thing is, I usually used my cleaning cloth to polish the silver around the edge and the back so that it looked like-new almost all the time... Did they by chance coat the sides and back? probably not

Yeah, I don't know that I'd use my pants but a soft shirt works great.

I got a cleaning cloth with my 3G and quickly lost it. I'm not too bummed I won't be getting one with my 3GS. I've never really been big on keeping my phone is show quality condition anyway.

For all of you poor, poor iPhone 3G S owners with no cleaning cloth if you buy a screen protector, they sometimes come with a cleaning cloth. Or, as others have mentioned, eyeglass cloths will work fine, and so will (as still others have mentioned) just about any loose cloth, due to the fancy new magic plastic "oily"-phobic coating. If you are still troubled about it, my goodness folks, you have the iPhone 3G S! Put your minds at ease already!
