So I sent an Imessage to someone yesterday. They use an icloud email to text, while I have an Iphone5. I sent a message and it became green(SMS) and said," Sent to Email Address". Did they receive the message?

There really is no way to know for sure a message is received and seen... unless you physically observe them read the message.

It got sent. Whether it was read, that's different.
