Desktop website irritating

iMore crew, I love your content and your writers. But this recent change to the desktop version of the website, where I have to click down to remove an info box to read an article (which also blocks me from clipping a quote to use in the comments) is quite irritating. Also, on the app, I went to read the iOS8 Rumor roundup article, but after the tease, the app just shows me the webpage version, also irritating.
