2 part question.
I have a macbook pro retina and I just converted from the windows world...New and loving it but some things are odd to me. When I delete a photo from photos they don't get permanently deleted...
I've done a lot of research and figured out that I can go into applications, view contents of the photos app and delete directly from the folders where they are stored, it's a bit tedious but whatever I can live with it and use image capture instead...however when I go in to "About this mac" and view my storage it says i am using up 1gig in photos...I have deleted every single photo...Where can I find where this space is being taken up? The hunt for photos is on!
