Deleting Iphone's Apple Support Log File

I

iMore Question

I have an old Iphone 3GS I'm trying to revive. It's the 8GB model and I've noticed I have 3.8GB worth of 'Other' data stored in it.
I've tried all the conventional methods to try and get rid of it, to no avail.
After a thorough file search through the phone's folders, I found a very large Log file in this directory:

var/mobile/library/logs/Apple Support/general.log

This log file is 2.7Gb!! I can't even open it on notepad, it's just too large.

My question is: can I delete this file safely?
Thanks in advance.
