Somehow in the past I have got about 6-12 duplicates of all my contacts. These duplicates are now on my iPhone 3GS and in my yahoo email contacts. It seems if I go through my iPhone and delete each duplicate individually it stays deleted. However, I can go into iCloud now and see my contacts. In iCloud it's a lot easier to delete multiple contacts in batches instead of having to go into each contact to delete on my iPhone. However, the deleted contacts in iCloud don't get deleted on my iPhone.
Is there a way to delete duplicate contacts in iCloud and have those duplicates deleted on my iPhone?
