I've had LTE speeds as slow as 8.9 Mbps and as quick as 18 Mbps. Not as fast as I've seen some other carriers but it does the job. I mean, a phone can only handle so much in regards to speed - so it feels lightning fast to me :)

Note: I happen to live in the one area of Dallas that has always had really good signal - I live about a mile and a half away from a tower and had great WiMAX speeds too. So ymmv :)

I live in Miami (Kendall) by tamiami airport. I'm actually close to a tower. I've been hearing and reading that Sprint will soon be deploying better 3G and LTE here. I know many who are already picking up eHRPD. I'm constantly doing speed tests. Check out these speeds I picked up this morning when I was walking my dog. I hope Sprint's LTE in Miami will soon be deployed. Im using an iPhone 5.

Yeah, no way in hell that's 3G on sprint, it has to be LTE, Sprint said jn its last press release that some customer might see LTE coverage before the service is officially launched, so I guess you got lucky, for a good LTE 11mbps is not that fast but that's a very good speed anyway and you shouldn't have any problems doing anything with your phone

Best I've gotten

Sprint LTE became live today in many parts of Miami including Boca Raton. I'm sure once fully deployed speeds will decrease. Honestly I can live with half of this. Give or take with an average of 10-13mb on download you can pretty much do anything with it.

Here's 3G vs Wifi at home

3G is half the speed of my (very slow) wifi connection and LTE blows it out of the water, but I'm happy with my 3G speeds.

Just for fun, here's LTE. I've had better speed tests but this is right now, in my living room :)

This is obvious that your wifi router is complere garbage or you have bad service for it because GOOD WIFI always and i mean just about always blows everything else out the water. I have comcast and just bought a new router a few months back and i went from kbs down and up to about 20ish down and 5+ up if everyone else in the house gets off the wifi

Also depends on your ISP .. Some people get the cheap Internet for home wifi and can be only 3 down

I have Comcast 24 Mbps here in my house and that thing flies. I pay $37.99 a month for it. I use my own modem to avoid Comcast fees.

I really wish people would stop with these I get 30 down or I get 50 down....

All we need in a Mobile environment is a consistent 5-10 MBs down and 2-3 up and rock solid coverage....I couldn't care less about anything over 10 Down....the naked eye can't even tell the difference between 5 down and 50 down.

It only matters if you tether, and even then 5-10 is plenty fast enough.
