Custom sound for one contacts' emails?

Hello all!

I was wondering if it's possible to set a custom sound on my iPhone whenever I receive an email from a certain contact. I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!

Other than setting up an email account and filter it to only receive email from that one contact, no. You can only assign notification sounds by account for email.

What I ended up doing was assigning the contact to my VIP email list and then assigned a sound for VIP emails. I only had a couple VIP contacts before (that I can temporarily live without in the short term). Once this all settles down, I'll switch everything back.
