Ok so I just got my iPhone 3GS yesterday and i have never had an iPhone before but I could use a bit of help. I want to load up some of the ringtones I downloaded over to my iPhone but I don't know how. I have about 30 ringtones and the defaults on the phone are a bit annoying. Any help would be awesome.

If you go here you'll see the first few sticky threads include lots of information on formatting your ringtones, how to get them into iTunes, and how to generally create and use ringtones on the iPhone.

You can't use mp3's as ringtones on the iPhone. they have to be converted. Ignore the link in the post by paul - he seems to be a spammer. If you'll go to my link in post number 2 of this thread, you'll find a few threads here on TiPb talking about converting and creating ringtones for the iPhone.
