I upgraded from iPhone 5s to iPhone 6 and lost the PocketMoney app. I still have it on my iPad. The app is no longer available in the App Store. Is it possible to copy the app from one device to another?

Please help!

Only way I've managed that is to back up to iTunes, and then sync the iPhone with iTunes. I still have the original AppShopper app on my device accordingly. You may not be able to keep the information inside the app though. Also, you will probably have to resync the iPad with iTunes, and this may cause some loss as well. Hope this helps!

Is it still in your purchased list in the App store? Even if it's been removed from sale, you should still be able to get it from your purchased list. Case in point, the Launcher widget that was removed shortly after iOS 8 launched. I can still download it from my purchased list despite it being no longer available in the app store.

That's true mostly. But misbehavin' apps will vanish from the purchased list in some cases. Not too long ago I downloaded a video downloader app. I was able to retrieve to my camera roll some videos from my YouTube that had copyright issues. I knew that was odd. I deleted the app, then later looked for it, but it was no longer in my purchased list. Copyright issues? Stuff like my video of a boat ride with music playing on the boat's stereo. I despise YouTube. I was lucky to get all my videos back.
