So, the A1429 version of the iPhone 5 is going to have CDMA and GSM hardware in it, but if you buy it in Europe they are going to load a version of iOS that disables the CDMA functionality.
Annoying for us Europeans who travel to the US regularly and would like to use LTE when there.
Once a stable jailbreak and unlock has been developed for the iPhone 5 are we likely to be able to load a different baseband (or whatever) onto your GSM A1429's to enable the CDMA and effectively make them a CDMA A1429?
In short, will I be able to load the Verizon or Sprint iOS image onto my unlocked i5 from the UK?
Thanks
