I'd be very interested in attempting to use this as a full-fledge laptop replacement. I spend a lot of time managing remote servers, would be fascinating to see how this could fit into and enhance those workflows. I don't think it could replace a laptop, but the experience would be worthwhile and educational--and fun.

As an interior designer, I'd like to use it for drawing a sketch using apple pencil, and while I'm drawing it will be great to use an app like pinterest/instagram to find inspiration. AutoCAD 360 is a must have app too.
Another great thing is, I also can present it to my client with its huge brilliant screen.

I have an iPad 3, iPhone 6, and a 4-year-old iMac, and I would love to have an iPad Pro. I am a technical writer by occupation and a memoirist by avocation - I have led a somewhat unusual and interesting life, and have been drawing on my experiences to write "stories from my life" for which there could be publishing possibilities. I have also been teaching myself Mandarin with electronic dictionaries, ebooks, and other resources on my phone, iPad, and Mac - the Mac OS and iOS environments are ideal for language learning, and I'm now working on putting together a Chinese reader. I have used my iPad extensively with an Amazon Basics keyboard, but I believe the iPad Pro with its much faster speed, multitasking, split screen, larger work area, and readily accessible keyboard would greatly expand my productivity.

I wrote an illustrated family history using Pages on my iMac and would like to experiment further with illustrated essays using the larger format and enhanced capabilities of the iPad Pro. And there's travel writing - we're headed for China again in February, and the iPad Pro would be ideal for compiling notes and impressions. On our last trip earlier this year I used my smaller iPad as my traveling computer/writing machine to keep an illustrated blog, including photos from my iPhone and Canon SLR - the iPad Pro would represent a quantum leap forward for such writing. I must commend Serenity Caldwell for her extremely intriguing impressions of using the iPad Pro as her sole computer for a week, plus Rene Ritchie's very helpful "video review" of the iPad Pro.

I plan to use the Pencil and multitasking for designing products individually for customers. Great news that I do not need to switch to a Surface and keep my business software I used before on an iPad Air. Size & resolution also matters, so the fine details of the clothes can be grasped while watching the whole product. I also believe that the Pencil is a better product than the Surface Pen. Not so sure that I really need the better sound quality except when watching movies, I rather would have liked more storage especially for the now even higher resolution images, but I guess the cloud will do.

I will use the multitasking feature and new keyboard for my school work. I will also use the faster CPU and RAM to make me edit the school project(video) faster than on my old iPad (3rd Generation).

Creative professional, here... and I DEFINITELY plan to make this "field friendly" for video, photography and voiceover/music editing. I've been Apple-centric since1994, and have encouraged all around me to do the same!f I also do a lot of personal Bible study, and having the ability to have two apps open side-by-side would be EXCELLENT!!!
