Contact pictures vanished.

Firstly I notice that all the contact photos were missing from the iPhone after I'd gone to great length over time to have a large percentage of the 3000 contacts with a matching photo. I thought syncing the iPhone would replace them from Outlook but it has just removed them from there too. I realise that they are probably gone now but it?s a bit of a mystery as they have been fine for over 2 years and there is no apparent settings to control it. Any ideas so it won't happen again.

I have also had this happen to me. Not really sure what caused it but it has happened a couple of times.

I might of been over doing, but still 2593. So you can imagine my frustration.

I hate Outlook. The few times I've made the effort to use it, this is the sort of thing that happened. The typical Outlook user doesn't know what a .pst is, and consequently has to call in tech support. Ugh.

Do you have a mac with time machine back ups? If so you might be able to restore to previous backup of your iPhone in iTunes before you synced with outlook.
