Contact Photo's

I'm having a nightmare with contact photos. My iphone and watch hold the up to date contact photos, however my iPad doesnt. Why?

I've tried removing all contacts from Ipad and re-adding but no joy!

Any ideas??

Is it safe to assume your contacts are synced via iCloud AND that both your iPhone and iPad are configured with the same iCloud account?

Yes thats correct, everything sync'd and same icloud account
