Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm coming back to iOS after a long hiatus with Android.
I was under the impression that iOS7 showed contact pictures in the SMS app. I can't seem to find an option to turn it on and they are not showing up for me. My contacts do have pictures, many of which were synced from Gmail or Facebook. Do the contact pictures have to be local to show, or is there a setting I need to enable somewhere?
Thanks.
Edit: I think I figured out the problem. It only works in group messaging. Unfortunate, but it answers the question. Sorry for the forum spam.
