When I drag down to bring the search menu and search a contact, my contact doesn?t show up. The search results will show my contact in messages and calendar but not contacts. I used to have that in the older Ios. Any ideas?

Open the contacts app and see if there is 'Groups' in the upper right corner.
If so, select to show all the groups and your contact will most likely show up.
