compose tweak

Hopefully someone can help me on the above tweak. I even wrote to the developer, but received no answer. Every time I try and compose either an email or sms, the screen turns black after 13 seconds. It doesn't crash because when I click the sleep button it comes right back to the text or email. Is it just incompatible with an iphone 5? I deleted intelliscreenx and tried without it and still didn't work. I give up. Any help would be appreciated.
