I subscribe to Sling because it's the only streaming service that has the Pac-12 Network and I'm a huge Colorado Buffaloes fan. I rarely use Sling for anything but sports. Most of my other TV watching is done through Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and HBO Now. I can never go back to sitting through commercials or paying ridiculous box rental and DVR fees. Plus, all of those streaming services have great exclusive shows that I can't get through a regular cable or satellite company and I don't mind waiting a year to watch seasons of shows like Better Call Saul, Preacher, Mr. Robot, etc. I've become accustomed to being able to binge watch a season and prefer it to waiting a week for new episodes.
I also have an [redacted] that works with an app called [channels] on the Apple TV for over the air channels. Works great!
