From Maryland, can anyone help me with problem. I can recieve emails but can't send any. I'm with cable carrier Comcast. They're no help! Is anyone else having problems with this?

My solution was to ditch Comcast email and use Gmail.

Did you set up your outgoing mail server settings? You can can find the appropriate settings on comcast's website, but here's how mine are set up

Host: smtp.comcast.net
Use SLL: ON
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 587

Yes I was having the same problem and the server port that works from my phone is 995. For some reason when I was using port 587 or port 25 it would not allow me to send emails from that particular cable account. So port 995 works for me

Mine is set at 587 works just fine.

Use their app on the iTunes store.

Ditto on that. The best part is that Comcast will supposedly be updating this app to include the functionality of setting your DVR while on the go.
