How do you do this while on a long car/plane trip?
I'm serious this will be my 1st iPhone. I know nothing about this new connector. Do I just need to buy a battery case?

While in a car, connect one end of the lightning cable to the iPhone and the other end to the USB connector in your car. To listen to audio while charging, use the Bluetooth option in your car, if available.

While on a plane, do the same, but use a Bluetooth headset.

I'd like to believe that on a long flight, you're apt to fall asleep at some point and while on a long drive, you can still use your car's radio.

Will keep using me Beats Wireless till they crap out.Once they break I will get a new set.

For in the car I will use Bluetooth. In other peoples cars I will plug in to AUX jack. The thing is I use a iPad charger any where I go. So I can top off battery with in 5-10 min to give me a good boost.
