Changing home screen

I have my phone connected to my MAC and can view my apps on iTunes. But I can't adjust the home screens nor add a downloaded app. I thought you could click on an app and move it to another home screen, add or delete. What am I not doing correctly????

Welcome to iMore!

You can move apps by tapping and holding on the app. After a second or two they will all start to wiggle, and you can drag apps all around. Push the home button when you're done to get them to stop wiggling and lock in place.

Re: Changing home screen

Welcome to iMore! Just as @robertk328 said, you can arrange your app icons directly on your iPhone. To actually answer your question, you should be able to click on "Apps" using the sidebar that appears in iTunes after you connect your device. This will bring up a preview of your homescreen where you rearrange your apps.

Re: Changing home screen

You can also rearrange pages of apps by dragging them in iTunes, which is handy if you have a bunch.
