Changed ID bc email changed keeps asking for pswd for old one

I thought I should change my apple id to reflect my new email address. I'm not even in the store and it will randomly ask me for my pswd for my old id. I reset it but still happens. I'm at a loss!

From your device go to Settings \ iTunes & App Stores, click on your ID. Log out and then log in again making sure to enter the correct password. Do the same for all your iOS devices.

Also, depending on what you used that Apple ID for, it could be validating the password for any number of things:

Email account
iTunes store account
iCloud account
PhotoStream account

I just recently changed mine using the info found in this thread here. Using the official Apple method worked flawless for me. Special thanks to @gary1949 for the help in his post.

Logging in and out didn't help. The IPhone is my only device until I pull the trigger on an iPad or mini. It's Id for iTunes years ago. The last post didn't seem to quite apply. These almost 40 eyes could see the page on the phone. Think that would work?

Go to Apple ID Support at: Apple - Support - Apple ID



In the bottom right hand corner is a link to the procedure for properly changing your Apple ID.

OK seems my old ID is iCloud and iTunes is my current one. I can't figure out how to change iCloud.
