Case friendly wireless chargers

I got fed using this Samsung pad someone had around here and ordered

listed as a bargain stand on iMore. It didn’t charge all night and then I took off my Otterbox Pop Top case and it started charging.

They can be finicky, that's for sure. I can say from personal experience that this charger works great with my husband's iPhone, which has an Otterbox Defender case on it.

Granted, it's a little more pricey, but he does not have to take his case off (which since it's a Defender, would be a major pain in the butt!).

If you can find the link to the article here on iMore, I would definitely comment that you had issues with one they had recommended!

Yes, it also depends on the case. For example I use the Quad Lock case on my 11 Pro Max but I also have the accessory ring. I have to take the ring off for wireless charging to work:

I thought so too and I took it off but it still wouldn’t charge until I took off the entire case so it’s a few dollars more but it might be worth trying the other one to keep my case on.
