I realy can't wait any longer for an untethered jb for my iOS5 iPhone 4. So if I redsnow it and use a tethered jb, when the untethered finaly is released will I have to re jailbreak and loose all my cydia apps and tweaks. Or can I just jb over the top of the tethered redsnow meaning I don't need to install everything again? Cheers guys

As I've said before, I can't imagine doing a tethered jailbreak, but this is a questions I've asked myself when considering it. I'm too OCD to do tethered. Just knowing that I can't turn my phone off when I'm out is enough of a deal breaker for me

how often do you turn your phone OFF? i say try it and then make an assessment

between having my computer at work and home i will always be covered. i did this when 4.2 came out and just like now, so far, i have not had to use either one in an emergency situation. is always been on my terms

Tethered really isn't bad... The only time I need to reboot is when a Cydia app requires me to do so. Even then I still don't power down, I just close Cydia out & respring lol :D
