Cannot restore Iphone 4S

So I'm trying to restore this Iphone 4s because I do not know what the password is. I try putting it into dfu mode or recovery mode but when i do that and everything pops up again this message comes up on itunes

The phone is completely disabled and wont allow any more passcode trys



It won't even let me re enter the password because its disabled and still just says to plug into Itunes, but when i do nothing happens.

I've tried turning it off and having it unplugged, then holding the home key and plugging it back it and it does the same exact thing with the same error message. Is there anything i can do inside the phone to physically reset it?
