Can you use El Capitan's split screen mode for Chrome apps?

Hi all,

I am very close to buying a 2015 MacBook Pro (not sure that I am going to wait on the 2016 models), and I have a general question about El Capitan's split screen mode. Does it work on Chrome apps? I use a Facebook Messenger Chrome app and would love to use split screen for that while, say, browsing the web or checking my email.

Sorry if this seems like a basic question, but I haven't used a Mac in a while and am not familiar with how to use split screen mode. I wasn't sure if it worked on all apps, or just on Mac apps. Thanks!

Absolutely, now days I think most apps are being updated to work with split screen.
