It does seem like it would deform the case's edges after repeated applications.

I had the leather case for two weeks, and when I took it back it was already looking pretty bad on the edges from normal use. I don't think it would stand up very well to constant removal.

The 5S leather case did loosen a good bit over time...mine would slip off just slightly but never to the point where the device wasn't protected, just kind of an annoyance where it wasn't quite snug on the phone.

The 6 Plus leather case seems INFINITELY more snug around the phone...so I'm not really worried about this one myself.

Nope. Not the case. It works perfectly hence the $65 price tag( Australia).

I have taken mine on and off several times no issues here although it is starting to show some scuffs from usage. Kind of builds character IMO.
