Can I use just the iTunes for music on my old iphone4?

I have a new phone but my grandson wants my old iPhone 4 for iTunes and you tube. Is that possible?

Sure. If you've got a sim, pull it... and then put it into airplane mode, and turn on wifi so it can be used that way.

Of course. Make sure your grandson creates his own Apple ID. It'll cause headaches later on if you don't.
